Hunter Douglas in Bessemer City is hiring for multiple positions!! No Experience required!! Temporary to Permanent!!!

  • Assembler

  • Shade Inspector

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision performs semi-complex and varied assembly operations. Requires the use of simple hand tools and the ability to follow documented procedures. Normal activities include material preparation and component assembly.

Will perform accurate linear measurements, identification of shades and associated components by order number and basic housekeeping.

Employee will adhere to all safety regulations and procedures and be responsible for other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Skills:

  • ability to read a tape measure and use simple hand tools

  • ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English

  • ability to perform designated work within the prescribed dead lines

  • ability to enhance the department's ability to meet labor per unit hour goals

  • ability to stand for 8 hours

  • ability to lift 45lbs.

  • ability to differentiate between shades of color

Education:

High School

Experience:

Entry Level

High School diploma or equivalent required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
